Chris & Jen & I with the Jeser Molina family after the ordination.
We left our hotel at 9am today and didn’t get back until a few minutes after 9pm – but it was a WONDERFUL 12-hour day of ministry here!
I first met Jeser in 2006, on the second day of a Global Advancer Pastor’s Conference. I had noticed a group of passionate youth sitting on the front rows of the conference, and thought that Jeser might be their pastor. Instead, he was the Assistant Youth Pastor – but after I talked with him, Jeser agreed to invite his pastor, Herley Montes to attend the next day, and that’s how we first connected with Herley. Today, it came full circle as we ordained Jeser & his wife, Aying!
Four years ago Pastor Herley sent Jeser & Aying to Tagum, a city of almost 300,000 people located about an hour-and-a-half drive from Davao City, to plant a CLC campus. Starting with just their family, they have grown to more than 200 people now, and they recently moved into a beautiful facility inside a shopping mall, where we expect their growth to accelerate!
After the ordination, we presented them with a Prayer Shawl (talit) and both of us spoke prophetic words over them.
Their fun, quirky personality makes them a joy to be around every time we visit the Philippines.
and their daughter, JAM, is a real diva! (Their younger son, Thirdy, is not pictured, but he’s scared of white people, so we didn’t get to love on him)

Since our Missions Director (Jen) and two of our Campus Pastors (Brent & Sam) joined us here in Davao, we ALL had opportunity to serve the Davao City church today, and the Presence of God worked in each services, as these pictures tell the story:
Sam preached the House down at the 10am service
Brent ministered at the 2pm service
It was my turn at 4pm
Finally, Chris ministered at 6pm, and the ANOINTING was SO strong – I can’t describe what all God did with so many of those in attendance – but we all agreed that the CLC Convention really started TONIGHT, not tomorrow!
just some of the first-time guests who came forward to receive the Lord after one of our services in Davao
Jen was a blessing all day today & Wileen, one of the Davao worship leaders, received an amazing prophetic word that we expect to see fulfilled!
These kinds of scenes were everywhere in the altar tonight-
Can’t wait for all 14 CLC campuses to come together tomorrow for our 2-day CLC-Philippines Convention!
If you attend ANY service at ANY CLC campus today, please leave a comment below – we miss everyone there and would love to know how things are at home!
