It was a Christmas Eve to remember at each CLC campus today, with a record attendance
My favorite pic of the day – some of the KidsLife stars at the Hammond campus production, “Festival of Lights”
It was a full-fledged production, with over 70 volunteers in the cast!
including several angels…
and the entire manger scene (plus the wise men)
Kudos to Roland Smith for choreographing the dances, and to Dorothy Caldwell for directing the production!
Best of all, PRAISE God for 10 people who prayed to receive Christ afterwards!
Meanwhile, at Blue Island, despite these pics, it was NOT a battle of the bands…
…it was 2 young men using their musical talents to worship the Lord!
plus a dance presentation from a combined children’s and youth dance team
Pastor Brent did an illustrated sermon of the entire Nativity scene, showing that Jesus must be the center of our lives!
Followed by the candlelight worship to “Jesus Be the Center”
There’s something sweet about families worshipping together by candlelight!
I’ve said it before; I’ll say it again: the CUTEST kids in the world are at CLC!
Of the many special moments in Tinley Park today, this KidsLife Choir was definitely the crowd favorite, with their rendition of “Little Drummer Boy”!
And these two little drummers definitely STOLE THE SHOW! (thanks for the laughs, Kaleb Grant & Jon-Jon Jones)
Kudos to Romel Moore, our very own rapper, who scored an assist with the kids!
Our true drummer boy, Darius Johnson, did a mean drum solo for the finale!
A surprise treat for Christmas was the Men’s Septet…..and they nailed “The Greatest Gift is Love”!
The candlelight worship was SWEET, I don’t care what anybody says!
Blue Island won the Christmas sweater & Christmas pajama competition today, but there were some special garbs in Tinley Park today, too!
And, most importantly as always, there were several people who prayed to receive Christ in each service at the Tinley campus today – that never gets old!
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!
