What better way to begin 2018 than with WORSHIP?
Pastor Brent brought the Word, “I am Finished with Undisciplined Living”
Every preacher’s dream: to have that kind of attention from the congregation as you preach!
Our Hammond campus started the year with a strong attendance (over 400) along with 6 salvation decisions & 5 new members in Growth Track!
Pastor Sam said worship was SWEET in Hammond today-
Our Hammond campus has big expectations for our 21-days of Prayer & Fasting!
Meanwhile, at the Tinley Park campus we closed the first 2 services with circles of prayer for the upcoming Daniel Fast.
Registration has begun for the XO Marriage Conference on Feb. 10 – you can sign up at www.clc.tv/xo
There really are no words to describe the noon service, as we literally couldn’t stop the flow of worship and for only the first or second time in 28 years at CLC, I was unable to preach because the Presence of God SO filled the house….people were laid out on the floor, weeping, standing in the aisles, praising, receiving prayer….just indescribable.
When things finally settled down, I invited people to the platform if they knew God had done something in or for them during that worship breakthrough:
Lauren Mahwikizi testified of things “coming off her” as she was set free during worship!
This sweet first-time guest tearfully told us how she had been suicidal, angry with God after her grandfather’s recent death, but during the service all of that was washed away and she received comfort from the Lord.
Cynthia Coburn received a healing of her spine while we worshipped the Lord!
Kara May told us how she had slipped & fallen on the ice this week and showed us how she couldn’t move without pain….until today’s praise breakthrough!
If this was what happened the day before the fast, just IMAGINE what we’re about to experience these next 21 days!
